AM - Wednesday 10th September 2025

The IFLA World Council will take place immediately prior to the IFLA World Congress , the World Congress opening ceremony will take place immediately after the end of the world council - ie PM on Wednesday 10th September.

(Note - do not confuse with the convention center “Cité des congrès”. The building is located across the street)


World Council Registration

Attendees for the World Council must register for this event independently from the World Congress. Registration is now open.

• Official Delegates to IFLA should register via the form here or if you are not able to send an official delegate please use the form to assign a proxy representative.

• Observers should register via the form here.

The forms will close Friday 8th August 2025 after that point you will not be able to register for the World Council.

Logistics and Accommodation in Nantes
