IFLA Europe online webinar 'Healing Landscapes' which will take place on Thursday, 23 June 2022, 16.00-17.30 CET.
The webinar will address the broader definition of healing landscapes including places outside the healthcare setting. Healing landscapes, therapeutic or restorative landscapes have a positive effect on people' s mind, soul, and body. The particular topic will be in accordance with nature, in order to show the value and importance of nature and landscape for human well being as well as the contribution of Landscape Architects through design and management on healing our ordinary places. Urban green spaces, as part of a wider environmental context have the potential to address climate change mitigation, biodiversity, space for play and exercise and community activities. A balanced relationship between man and nature is crucial in order our living spaces and lifestyles to be beautiful, sustainable and inclusive.
